Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kathmandu to Dhulikhel
Arrive at Tribhuwan international airport in Kathmandu. Our representative will receive you and transfer you to your respected hotel in Dhulikhel which will take around 45 minute drive from the airport.
Day 2: Dhulikhel to Kathmandu
After Breakfast, drive to Namo Buddha, it is believed to be the place where Lord Buddha has offered his life to a starving Tigress and her cubs. It is one of the most famous and important Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal. Drive to Kathmandu for Lunch. After lunch visit one of the famoun stupa Boudhanath the worlds biggest stupa build in 5th centuary. It has four pairs of eyes of Buddha in four cardinal direction kipping an external watch over the people and their doing.
Day 3
After breakfast drive to Swoyambhunat Stupa The Monkey Tample watches over the valley from the top hillock on its western side. The huge stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist site in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of the Kathmandu valley out of a primordial lake. Swoyambhunat is also known as Samhengu and the monkey temple because of the countless monkeys living in the premises. After lunch drive to Kathmandu leisure time for looking around.
Day 4
After Breakfast drive to Tribhuwan airport to fly to Bhutan. During the flight, one will experience breath-taking view of Mount Everest, Kanchenjunga and other famous Himalayan peaks including the sacred Jumolhari and Mount Jichu Drake in Bhutan. On arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be received by representative of Travelers Joy Bhutanand take you to Thimphu which is 54 km from Paro Airport and about 45 minutes drive. The drive to Thimphu takes you along the Paro Chu downstream to the confluence with the Wang Chu, then turn upstream and travel along the Wang Chu to Thimphu.Overnight hotel in Thimphu.
Day 5: Thimphu Sightseeing
Visit the Memorial Chorten, built in memory of the third King of Bhutan, the nunnery temple, Taking Zoo, traditional paper factory and giant Buddha statue on a hill overlooking Thimphu which is reputed to be the largest bronze Buddha statue in the world.

Day 6: Thimphu-Punakha
After breakfast enjoy the scenic drive to Punakha with a stop for tea at Dochu La (3,250 meters), where on a clear day you can get spectacular views of the Himalayas. From the pass, drive downhill through the forests of rhododendron, fir and hemlock. You will arrive at Punakha after traversing through rice field and along the bank of Punakha River. After lunch, visit the Punakha Dzong, which is stunningly situated in between the male and female rivers like an anchored ship. Overnight hotel in Punakha.
Day 7: Punakha- Phobjikha
After breakfast visit some of the villages in punakha and after lunch drive to phobjikha which will take around 3 hour. Over night hotel in Phobjikha.
Day 8: Phobjikha-Paro
Early morning after breakfast you may take a hiking trail through the meadows and if lucky you might see the black necked cranes nearby. Drive to Thimphu with a stop in Dochu La for tea. On the way, visit the new Druk Wangyal Monastery, which is the only of its kind in the country with elaborate paintings depicting the lineage of the present monarchy and their visionary works. You will stop in Thimphu for lunch. After lunch continue drive to Paro. Overnight hotel in Paro.
Day 9: Hike to Tigers Nest Monastery
After breakfast, hike to Taktsang (Tigers Nest) Monastery, which is the most famous monastery in Bhutan. Guru Rinpoche, an Indian saint is said to have flown on the back of a tigress from Singye Dzong in Lhuntse where Taktsang Monastery now stands. It is perched on the edge of a steep cliff, about 900 meters above Paro Valley. The hike to reach the viewpoint to the monastery makes for a nice half-day excursion. Hike back to Paro. In the evening you can explore Paro town.

Day 10: Depart from Paro
Drive to the airport for departure. Our guide and driver will bid you farewell.
