The word Chhimi means ‘no dog’. Built in 1499, this monastery stands on a hillock in Lobesa where Drukpa Kuenley conquered and buried the demoness of Dochu La with his “magic thunderbolt of wisdom”. Today, people from all walks of life visit this temple for its fertility endowments due to blessings of Drukpa Kuenley.
