There are 5 eastern Districts beyong Bumthang in the east - Mongar, Pema Gatshel, Trashigang, Lhuentshe and Sadrup Jongkhar in the south eastern border adjoining the State of Assam in India. Bumthang is the Central Region of Bhutan and the visitors would have travelled half of Bhutan by traveling up to Bumthang. Constrained by time, most tourists return back from Bumthang retracting on the same road back to Thimphu.
