All Farm Houses or Home-Stay where visitors are accommodated in the country side are officially approved by the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB). Visitors have the option of spending a night in the traditional home to experience an insight into the way of life of a typical Bhutanese family. Home-Stays are located in the beautiful country side, where serenity, hospitality and delicious home cooked meals await the visitors. Rooms are simple and clean.

Keeping in line with the tradition, the host families would offer home brewed alcohol called (Ara) fermented from corn, rice, millet, barley, wheat, buck-wheat grains. Organic vegetables are grown at the backyards are used for cooking dishes for the guests. Cheese, milk and eggs normally are products of backyard farming. Therefore, everything that are used for cooking for the guests are pure organic.
